3. The related concepts help with the understanding of the key concepts and help deepen their meaning. They can be different in other subject areas as long as the related concept can relate to the key concept.
4. The global contexts that we use are identities and relationships, orientation in space and time, personal and cultural expression, scientific and technical innovation, globalization and sustainability and fairness and development, and these help show how a certain topic can be related or used in everyday life or other parts of the world.
5. A statement of inquiry is a sentence that helps broaden the understanding of a topic and gives a person some sort of outlook on what exactly the specific topic is teaching.

2) The key concepts contributed by the study of design are communication, communities, development, and systems.
3) Related concepts promote deep learning; they are grounded in specific disciplines and are useful for exploring key concepts in greater detail. Related concepts may arise from the subject matter of a unit or the craft of a subject—its features and processes.
4) Global contexts direct learning towards independent and shared inquiry into our common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet. Many inquiries into design concepts naturally focus on scientific and technical innovation. However, courses in this subject group should over time offer students multiple opportunities to explore all MYP global contexts in relationship to the aims and objectives of the subject group.
5) Statements of inquiry set conceptual understanding in a global context in order to frame classroom inquiry and direct purposeful learning.
